Job Overview
Texada Software is in search of a dedicated Project Coordinator to enhance our Engineering PMO team. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic setting, assisting in the internal management of projects related to product and engineering efforts. Your focus will be on overseeing project management, assessing risks, ensuring timely application/product delivery, tracking issues, and supporting our engineering teams.
Importance of the Role
The Project Coordinator's expertise is vital for ensuring that projects adhere to our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines, remain within scope, are completed on schedule, and stay within budget, all while upholding high-quality standards.
Work Environment
This position offers a remote/hybrid work arrangement. While regular office attendance is not required, you may need to participate in occasional in-person meetings.
Your Contributions
- Assist in managing moderately complex product and engineering projects throughout the SDLC, from initial discovery to final deployment.
- Facilitate sprint planning for product features to optimize efficiency in task execution and priority management.
- Identify and communicate potential project risks proactively, suggesting mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues to senior team members and stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, document notes, and ensure clear follow-up on action items.
- Act as a collaborative team member, taking the initiative to support the delivery of new product and application features.
Desired Qualifications
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role, ideally within a software or technology context.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
- Capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Aha.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
