Job Title: Senior Support, Maintenance and Development.NET Resource

Job Summary:

BQ International Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Support, Maintenance and Development.NET Resource to join our team. As a key member of our Digital, Technology and Security – Application Management and Support (AMS) team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our.NET applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Digital, Technology and Security – Application Management and Support (AMS) team to provide technical support and maintenance for.NET applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and other team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain good documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and process improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior and intermediate resources to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and assist in the coordination of ongoing maintenance tasks, such as application and database server upgrades.
  • Work as a project team member in the role of operational acceptance lead to ensure effective project delivery and transition to operations.
  • Follow established change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of changes and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Must have development experience using C#.Net or Java.
  • Must have database scripting experience using SQL Server 2012 or higher or Oracle 10g or higher.
  • Must have Visual Studio experience.
  • Must have experience with modern Web APIs (REST & SOAP).
  • Must have experience using IIS.
  • Must have development experience using Angular, TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • Must have a recognized bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Must be able to work on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina SK.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • North American job experience is considered an asset.
  • Proponents are encouraged to provide specific and qualitative verbiage of other areas where their expertise can add value to our teams and make our projects as successful as possible.

Working Conditions:

The resource(s) will be required to work and be located on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

The proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra).
