Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in technical pre-sales or consultancy roles within the information technology sector.
  • Outstanding technical presentation and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to understand and interpret clients' business and technical requirements.
  • Proven experience collaborating and communicating with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing.
  • Familiarity with complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with contemporary software development practices and technologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing technologies and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Technical Skills

  • Relevant certifications, such as Solutions Architect Associate, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including public/private cloud, IaaS, PaaS, Linux Containers, container orchestration, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Understanding of large-scale IP networking, firewall and VPN configurations, DNS, and load balancing techniques.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills in popular programming languages, including Python, Bash, Golang, C, and Java.
  • Experience with both waterfall and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) and the ability to discuss various software development workflows.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in modern development practices, including Kubernetes, Docker, application security, cloud infrastructure, and serverless technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Practical software development experience.
  • Understanding of cloud-native technologies and practices related to continuous integration and deployment.
