Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ash Grove Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for menu planning and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
