About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our team at Subway. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sandwiches to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Ensure all equipment, utensils, and workstations are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the storage and disposal of waste.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and portion ingredients for sandwiches, salads, and other menu items.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving customers, and handling customer inquiries.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by preparing high-quality sandwiches and addressing any customer concerns.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Work Environment

The Sandwich Maker will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Will train.
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods.
