Job Title: Marketing Assistant

CDC Hamilton is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing efforts and helping us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop effective communication strategies and programs to engage our audience.
  • Prepare and create high-quality written materials, such as reports, briefs, and website content, to support our marketing efforts.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping, to ensure the smooth operation of our marketing team.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market, and provide recommendations to inform our marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and event marketing.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of our digital database, including data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, including cultural competency training and awareness programs.
  • Support the mentorship and coaching of Indigenous workers, and provide opportunities for networking and professional development.

Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
