Job Title: Senior Network Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Specialist to join our corporate infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining our corporate backbone, campus, and datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with ISPs, datacenter providers, and hardware vendors to ensure seamless network operations
  2. Contribute to the team's projects, focusing on WAN expansion, MPLS backbone management, and Wi-Fi infrastructure optimization
  3. Work with other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure network uptime
  4. Participate in lifecycle upgrades, network automation, and cloud network design
  5. Establish peering at our internet exchange (IX) and optimize global BGP routing policies
  6. Design and build new network segments as required

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  2. Expert-level knowledge of BGP, Juniper's Junos OS, and EVPN-MPLS
  3. Hands-on experience with MPLS technologies, VPN/tunnel technologies, and Linux server administration
  4. Experience with 802.1x Authentication, radius server management, and configuration
  5. Positive attitude, collaboration skills, and a willingness to contribute to creative solutions
  6. Soft skills, including positive interaction with peer teams and being helpful

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. JNCIP/JNCIE or CCNP/CCIE certifications
  2. Experience with Segment Routing (SR-MPLS) and Traffic Engineering (TE)
  3. Network Automation knowledge (Python, Ansible, YANG, BASH, etc.)
