Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
    • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
  • Food Preparation
    • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
    • Prepare and heat simple food items
  • Inventory Management
    • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of food and cleaning supplies
    • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional service to customers, including taking orders and serving food
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to complaints and resolving issues
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, lifting heavy objects, and standing for long periods. A valid food safety certification is an asset.
