Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team at Caravel Group Inc. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and defects.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Weld or braze components as required to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Assemble and install various types of coils, ensuring accurate and precise workmanship.
  • Provide on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Conduct thorough testing of repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance and functionality.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality. The role will require the ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment, with frequent lifting and bending.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical mechanics or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and possess manual dexterity.
