Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Oversee a collection of income-producing commercial assets.
- Reporting Cycle: Manage the complete reporting cycle, ensuring the enhancement of processes and controls.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end closing reports, quarterly updates, annual budgets, and CAM reconciliations.
- Compliance: Generate annual financial statements in line with IFRS and ASPE accounting standards.
- Policy Improvement: Refine accounting policies and procedures for greater efficiency.
- Project Support: Assist the IPP team with various special projects.
- Audit Collaboration: Work closely with external auditors during year-end audits.
- Team Development: Provide ongoing support and training to team members.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in public practice is considered an asset.
- Property accounting experience is also advantageous.
