Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at NorthSask Special Needs Inc. as a Personal Support Worker. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
