We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at AAA Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Pipe Fabrication: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- Estimation and Measurement: Estimate costs and materials, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
As a Plumbing Specialist, you will work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings. You will be required to work in wet/damp environments and may be required to handle heavy loads.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing or a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Work Conditions: Overtime required, and relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Vehicle Supplied: A vehicle will be supplied by the employer for transportation and travel purposes.
- Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Steel-toed safety boots are required for the job.
- Team Player: We are looking for a team player who can work collaboratively with our team.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
