Job Overview

Nanash Paint Limited is seeking a dedicated Construction Painter to join our skilled workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surface preparation and painting techniques.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The position involves working outdoors and in confined spaces, often dealing with various odours associated with painting materials.

Work Setting

Employees will be required to work at various locations, providing on-site customer service as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
  • Repair any cracks and holes in surfaces.
  • Mix paint to achieve the desired colour and texture.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
  • Advise clients on colour selections and wall covering options.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, ensuring proper rigging is in place.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate the costs and materials required for projects.
Equipment and Skills
  • Proficient in brush and roller painting techniques.
  • Experience in drywall taping and patching.
Safety and Security

Candidates must be bondable and possess a valid driver's licence.

Physical Requirements
  • Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Ability to distinguish between different colours.
  • Physical capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
