About the Role

Muskoka Mechanical Services Inc is seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances and related equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair gas appliances and related equipment in accordance with safety codes and regulations
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of installations and materials required
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Gas Fitter Trade Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 1 or A
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B
  • 5 years or more of experience in gas fitting
