Job Summary

BCIT's Operations Management department is seeking a temporary, part-time Faculty member to teach courses in Business Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field, recent industry experience, and a proven track record of teaching in a post-secondary institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Business Mathematics and Business Statistics
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet student learning needs
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Recent industry experience in Operations Management
  • Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution
  • Current experience applying math and statistics in industry
  • Ability to work in a collegial environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
