About the Role:

Ainsworth is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our team in Toronto GTA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining chillers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot chiller systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Install and assemble chiller equipment and components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on chillers to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the overhaul and servicing of chillers to extend their lifespan.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • 4th year diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
  • Experience with centrifugal, screw, scroll, and piston compressors.
  • Knowledge of HVAC Refrigeration trade practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
