Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Childcare: Provide exceptional care and supervision to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family.
  • Errands and Chores: Take children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, as well as perform various household tasks.
  • Education and Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information.
  • Household Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including organizing activities and ensuring the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Employer's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
