As a Home Support Worker with ParaMed Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their communities to live safely and independently in their homes. You will provide assistance with daily tasks and self-care activities, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
What You'll Do:
- Visit patients in their homes, providing support with daily living activities and personal care.
- Assist with meal preparation and mealtime support.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing.
- Support patients with basic activities of daily living, such as dressing and grooming.
What We're Looking For:
- Compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.
- A passion for making a positive impact in your community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check.
