Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Shelina Harji. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Assist clients with mobility, using equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
