Valard Construction LP: A Premier Powerline Contractor

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Journeyman Powerline Technician to join our Toronto Hydro Project Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of powerline services.

Requirements
  • Red Seal Distribution Lineman certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of distribution experience is required.
  • Live within daily driving distance of the GTA, with local residence preferred.
  • Previous Toronto Hydro experience is an asset.
  • Class 4 Rubber Glove certification is necessary.
  • Confined Space Cert. UWPC would be an asset.
  • Class DZ mandatory (preference to AZ) and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Working at Heights Cert. Standard First Aid (CPR/AED) would be an asset.
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic are essential.
  • A clean criminal record is required.
  • Double vaccination for COVID-19 is mandatory as per client requirement on this project.
  • Valard Construction is a CUSW Union employer: CUSW membership would be an asset or willingness to join the union is required.
