Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a relevant field.
- Field: Accounting and related services or equivalent experience.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate various statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance.
- Compile trial balances of books.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage accounts payable efficiently.
Oversee the work of accounting and related clerks to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
Technical SkillsProficiency in the following software is essential:
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- MS Windows
- MS Word
- QuickBooks
- SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
- Simply Accounting
- MS Office Suite
This is a permanent position with a work schedule ranging from 30 to 50 hours per week. The primary language of communication will be English.
