Position Overview

As a Bookkeeper at Blondie Cleaners (2013) Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. Your expertise will ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date, supporting our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a relevant field.
  • Field: Accounting and related services or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Generate various statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance.
  • Compile trial balances of books.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Manage accounts payable efficiently.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee the work of accounting and related clerks to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is essential:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Windows
  • MS Word
  • QuickBooks
  • SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
  • Simply Accounting
  • MS Office Suite
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule ranging from 30 to 50 hours per week. The primary language of communication will be English.
