  • Champion and nurture the culture and values of Paper.
  • Participate in a routine on-call rotation for incident response management.
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Provide accurate development time estimations.
  • Report on development progress regularly.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Architect.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity, managing distributed teams in fast-paced environments during periods of rapid growth.
  • Knowledge of service-oriented and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with GCP/AWS cloud services.
  • Understanding of various engineering disciplines and their interrelations.
  • Ability to comprehend code without daily hands-on involvement.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk management.
  • Expert knowledge of modern, agile software development life cycles and goal-setting frameworks such as SMART and OKRs.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Git, and GitHub.
  • Experience with EdTech software and industry standards is preferred.
