Regular Part-Time Professor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach a course in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the course subject matter and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a course in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing, including data preparation, organization, and integration, as well as data mining techniques and model evaluation.
- Develop and implement a course syllabus that aligns with the University's curriculum standards.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental and faculty meetings as required.
Requirements
- Doctorate in a field related to the course, or relevant work experience in a field related to the course.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching courses in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching methods.
