Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sept-Îles, Quebec. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting our industrial clients in their day-to-day operations, performing site surveys, participating in equipment testing and commissioning, and designing and reading various types of electrical drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist industrial clients in their operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning, and asset management.
  • Perform site surveys and participate in equipment testing and commissioning.
  • Design and read various types of electrical drawings.
  • Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications, and reports.
  • Attend internal or client coordination meetings.
  • Participate in project management, including costs, schedules, labor, and other aspects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or equivalent).
  • Three or fewer years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Available for short-term work assignments between Sept-Îles and our Labrador City office, depending on business needs.
  • Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments with our clients across Quebec and the rest of Canada.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other database applications.
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages.
