This is a key position that supports departmental alignments by ensuring the application of OHS processes (operating procedures and systems).
The successful candidate will participate in the implementation of a preventive culture by empowering customers (managers, etc.).
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of solutions leading to the reduction of risks associated with production activities
- Advising, supporting, and coaching internal customers (production, union, services)
- Participating in the development and deployment of OHS programs and tools
- Conducting on-site qualitative and quantitative OHS risk analyses
- Carrying out trend analysis of OHS data and identifying areas for improvement
- Acting as a technical specialist, mentoring and sharing knowledge with customers in areas of expertise such as ergonomics, machine safety, industrial hygiene, environment
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A DEC, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a field related to Health and Safety
- At least 5 years' experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- The ability to think strategically, seek original solutions, analyze, and solve problems
- Autonomy, structure, and the ability to coordinate the implementation of several projects simultaneously
- Excellent IT skills
