Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation - Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that enable larger scale projects and functionality aligned with our architecture strategy.
  • Support and Maintenance - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve enterprise infrastructure issues as they arise, and identify strategic solutions to achieve a stable environment.
  • Documentation and Communication - Document the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure solutions, and effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
  • Project Management - Plan, coordinate, and facilitate designed solutions using best practices to provide a future support model.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience - 4-year college degree or technical training equivalency, and 10+ years of professional experience in network configuration, support, analysis, and design.
  • Technical Skills - Extensive experience with routing and switching technologies, including Cisco L2&3 switches, Meraki L2&3 switches, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Soft Skills - Excellent leadership, interpersonal, comprehensive communication, and customer relationship skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco Certification - Preferred certification in Cisco technologies.
  • Cloud Experience - Experience with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS (Azure Cloud) solutions.
  • Network Monitoring - Experience with network monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds or Manage-engine.
