The Facility Maintenance Attendant at Silver Creek Lodge plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dust and sanitize furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change linens to ensure guest comfort.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Organize and stock the linen closet efficiently.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Maintain cleanliness in operating rooms and other critical areas.
  • Ensure elevators are clean and disinfected.
  • Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Attend to guests' requests for additional supplies or services.
  • Provide basic information regarding lodge facilities.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks when necessary.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain quality.
  • Mend clothing and linens as required.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to support overall operations.
  • Shop for food and household supplies as needed.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns with professionalism.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared to:

  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Engage in repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads.
  • Adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
