Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Team Management: Establish work schedules, supervise 3-4 people, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Training: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
