Key Responsibilities:
Utilizing a comprehensive financial planning framework, you will be accountable for driving investment sales and acquiring new clients, all while adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance, and regulatory standards. You will also seek business development opportunities with prospects and clients within your designated market area.
Business Development:
Identify additional investment business development opportunities and facilitate the implementation of investment solutions or referrals to the appropriate partners.
Client Solutions:
Deliver client-focused investment solutions through a financial planning framework, ensuring alignment with Global Sales Principles. Conduct complimentary needs assessments across various financial statements, including competitor statements.
Community Engagement:
Actively participate in local professional and community events to expand your network. Identify opportunities to host community information sessions and financial seminars to attract new prospects. Build and maintain a strong market presence in your assigned area while networking with investment industry specialists.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Current accreditation and good standing with MFDA licensing requirements (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
- Actively pursuing a Financial Planning designation, having completed the educational requirements for a Personal Financial Planning (PFP(R)) designation and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP(R)) designation.
- Proven networking, client acquisition, and interpersonal skills, with experience in building and maintaining Centres of Influence (COIs).
- Extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory landscape.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client meetings within the designated district.
