Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Chau Pham. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring our clients' physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Administer medications, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent position.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
