About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and engaging individuals in their communities. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting individuals in achieving their life goals and aspirations
  • Providing home support services, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Accompanying individuals on community outings, such as volunteering, employment, and leisure activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and goal progression

Available Positions

We have a permanent full-time position available, with a schedule that includes:

  • Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am-8:00pm
  • Sunday: 8:00am-8:00pm

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting others and has a strong understanding of person-centered and active support approaches. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Class 5 driver's license (permanent staff must be willing to obtain a Class 4 license)
  • A First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A clear criminal record (paid by CLS)
  • A clean driver's abstract
  • The ability to support individuals on extended walks or hikes
