POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Over 7 years of extensive experience in Java8, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring JPA, and Microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
  • Deep understanding of Microservices principles, including SOLID principles, 12-factor applications, design patterns, and Cloud Native Architecture.
  • Strong expertise in developing containerized applications and deploying them in OCP/PCF/Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, build tools such as Gradle/Maven, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins/Helios.
  • Knowledgeable in code quality frameworks and tools like SonarQube, AquaScan, NexusIQ, and CheckMarx.
  • Experience in unit testing frameworks such as Junit with Mockito.
  • Proficient in relational databases like DB2, SQLServer, and SingleStore.
  • Capable of providing technical solutions and guiding teams effectively.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
  • Experience in migration projects from non-cloud to cloud environments (e.g., WebSphere to PCF) and between cloud platforms (e.g., PCF to OCP).
  • Familiarity with API management tools such as APIGEE and documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Knowledge of caching services such as Redis and MemCache.
Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of IT standards and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the Wealth Management domain is a plus.
