Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Paradise Contracting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes filling hollows, removing spots on freshly poured cement, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment:

The Concrete Finisher will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential.

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in a team environment
