Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and prepare tax returns.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Keep financial records, establish, maintain, and balance various accounts, and post journal entries.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Language and Communication: Work in English and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Work Schedule: Work 32 hours per week in a permanent position.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
