About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Danamex Trade Ltd. as a Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate prices and credit terms with suppliers
    • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
    • Select and purchase merchandise for resale
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
    • Negotiate transportation arrangements with suppliers
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Review and analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Experience in a wholesale or retail environment is an asset
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian languages
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in all tasks
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong initiative and judgment
    • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a wholesale establishment/store environment, with a 40-50 hour workweek.
