Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Fibretech Distributors Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating with other departments to meet customer demands, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products are stored and handled properly.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent lifting and bending.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

  • Client Focus: Strong customer service skills and ability to work with customers to resolve issues.
  • Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
