Hotel Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Travelodge Parksville.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering information on hotel facilities and services, as well as local attractions and points of interest.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Provide general customer service and support to guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour workweek.
