Key Responsibilities :

Your role will involve generating investment and product content to equip Fidelity's sales and marketing teams with the necessary expertise, insights, competitive analysis, and information to drive the sales of our funds.

The ETF Team at Fidelity Investments Canada serves as the authoritative source for high-quality investment product analysis and expertise. This group specializes in a wide array of products within our ETF business, catering to both retail and institutional clients. Collaboration with the Strategist, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Institutional Teams is essential to address the needs of clients and other vital areas of the organization.

Responsibilities Include:

Cultivating and communicating an expert understanding of assigned products and the relevant capital markets. Ensuring optimal positioning of assigned products for market success. Providing comprehensive support for products with aligned content, communications, and messaging that reflect Fidelity's overall business and sales objectives. Assisting sales team members with product information and training as needed. Fostering strong working relationships with assigned investment staff, retail sales teams, and marketing partners. Building and maintaining robust connections within the marketing group. Developing and enhancing relationships with market makers while monitoring ETF trading activities. Proactively creating and delivering educational content and marketing strategies for ETFs. Identifying compelling product opportunities and key factors that drive sales success. Maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. Ensuring the clarity and accuracy of all product-related materials.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Progress towards a CFA designation or an advanced degree in business or financial analysis is preferred. 1-2 years of relevant experience in the investment industry or academic background is advantageous. Proficiency in VBA and Macro skills is a plus.

Skills and Expertise

Strong analytical capabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in computer skills and financial software solutions. Confident public presentation skills and comfort in client-facing situations. Strong relationship-building abilities. Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Solid understanding of portfolio management principles and the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate portfolio performance and investment characteristics.
