About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing fire protection systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and layout sprinkler systems using specialized CAD software packages based on the AutoCAD platform
  • Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Perform field checks of the completed design to verify accuracy
  • Work closely with district contracting teams to understand contract requirements and delivery needs
  • Mentor others in the proper execution of sprinkler design
Requirements
  • At least 1-5 years of fire sprinkler design experience
  • Working experience with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Sprinkler Design Software, or equivalent sprinkler design software
  • Graduate of the Fire Protection Technologist Program from Seneca College
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MSOffice, Sprinkler Design Software, and a hydraulic calculation program
