About the Role:

Tiger Calcium Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at our Nisku, Alberta facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the ordering, receiving, delivery, disbursement, and record keeping of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull parts from inventory and supply to mechanics and field maintenance personnel.
  • Manage the parts room and parts inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Issue parts on repair orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep the warehouse in a neat and tidy order, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Source parts from suppliers and work with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Manage bin locations, part numbers, minimum/maximum inventory levels, and dead inventory.
  • Ship and receive materials as needed, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Adhere to Tiger Calcium Services Inc.'s Safety Management System policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Parts Technician certification is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Experience working with bin locations, part numbers, safety stock, and minimum/maximum inventory levels.
  • Experience with cycle counts and inventory counts.
  • Experience with data entry on work orders.
  • Five years or more experience working with industrial, heavy-duty truck parts and consumables in a transportation shop.
  • Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with consignment inventory.
  • Experience with TMT software application is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating a forklift is an asset.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug and alcohol and health assessments.
