Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical chairside assistance to dental professionals, including knowledge of instrumentation and infection control protocols.
- Establish strong relationships with patients, maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor at all times.
- Prepare treatment rooms according to established protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with practice health and safety requirements, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- A competitive hourly wage, ranging from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
