Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join our team at Piramal Group. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy operational excellence plans across the site, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Conceptualize and manage business initiatives, leveraging analytical techniques and change management methodologies.
  • Facilitate site strategy deployment, ensuring effective and efficient execution towards Zero Defects, Zero Deterrents, Zero Harm, and Zero Waste.
  • Enable the site to achieve challenging targets, navigate teams to achieve financial savings & KPI targets, and report project status and financial results.
  • Coach and guide users on utilizing Lean, ToC, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies to implement projects and drive problem-solving.
  • Facilitate Lean Six Sigma capability development, including White Belt, Yellow Belt, and Green Belt training programs, and govern the certification process.
  • Drive the deployment of the DMS program, define the strategy for roll-out, deployment, and maturation at the site, and enhance team capability through training and coaching events.
  • Conduct data analytics and diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities in processes, drive thematic improvement projects, and ensure key burning issues are translated through the Performance Management System (PMS) standard.
  • Effectively program manage the Kaizen competition and Ideas Management program for the site, and ensure horizontal deployment of OE best practices from network sites.
  • Support the site in achieving financial saving targets and other KPI targets, and ensure reporting and review of monthly OE and KPIs MIS via the established OE governance model.
  • Support the organization's digitalization journey, engage in strategic and tactical digital use cases deployment, and prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in operational excellence, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. You should be an expert in change management, analytical techniques, and project management. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and guide teams to achieve operational excellence.
