Position Overview

HAMDARD MEDIA GROUP is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to contribute to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in graphic design.

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in graphic design
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work of fellow graphic designers and graphic arts technicians.
  • Estimate project timelines for graphic designs and illustrations.
  • Modify existing illustrations to align with project requirements.
  • Assist in creating storyboards for various multimedia productions, including digital and television advertising.
  • Engage with clients to understand their illustration needs and communication goals.
  • Generate realistic sketches and final illustrations that meet project specifications.
  • Create both 2-D and 3-D animated graphics or computer illustrations.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Manage all production aspects for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
  • Coordinate subcontracting efforts as necessary.
  • Consult with clients to define the overall aesthetic, graphic components, and content of communication materials.
  • Identify the most suitable medium to achieve the desired visual impact and communication effectiveness.
  • Develop graphic elements that fulfill client objectives.
  • Set guidelines for illustrators or photographers involved in projects.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic components.
  • Utilize existing photo and illustration resources along with typography guides.
  • Handle file processing and administrative paperwork.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals.

Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Social Media platforms
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and MAC operating systems
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint
Work Environment

Work Term: Permanent
