Job Title: Janitor

Hwy 9 Roadhouse is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all public areas, including hallways, floors, and stairs, are swept, mopped, scrubbed, and waxed on a regular basis.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt from floors and surfaces.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and replace liners as needed.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
