Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Southbridge Health Care LP. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, providing technical support to staff and administrators, and contributing to the development of our technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, firewalls, access points, and switches.
- Protect networks from unauthorized users through physical and technical means.
- Set up and maintain virtual private networks (VPN).
- Provide onsite support by resolving network connectivity issues.
- Document, maintain, and update network diagrams, systems, and configurations.
- Perform physical and logical analysis of networks and its applications.
- Support and diagnosis of technical issues involving Firewalls, VPNs, and Routing.
- Technical knowledge in Telecom Network topics: MPLS, spanning tree, routers, Layer 2/3 switches, WIFI, VoIP, firewalls, and UTM.
- Ensure open communication to all stakeholders by addressing delicate situations and handle conflicts in such a way as to maximize opportunity and minimize exposure to risk.
- Support project roll outs and other duties assigned as needed.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a high-volume environment supporting issues with network, infrastructure, firewall, switches, and ISP connections.
- Post-secondary education with a relevant degree or certificate program.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry is an asset.
- Technical experience with Fortinet is required.
- Strong working knowledge in Windows 11 and Office 365.
- High Technical knowledge in Telecom Networks: MPLS, spanning tree, routers, layer 2/3 switches, WIFI, VoIP, firewalls, and UTM.
- Practical hands-on networking and systems administration experience, including experience configuring access routers and switches.
- Exceptional analytic and troubleshooting skills for solving problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to all levels of personnel.
- A team player who can work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that will meet the demand of our customers as required.
- A valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle as frequent traveling is required.
- Ability to complete a vulnerable sector check.
- Knowledgeable in SDWAN implementations.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and network management tools.
- Post-secondary education with a relevant degree or certificate program.
- Hands-on knowledge of Layer 3 protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and RIP and Layer 2 protocols such as PPP and STP.
- Technical degree, Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, Fortinet NSE, and/or other networking certifications.
- Ability to develop automation using scripting languages.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of VMWARE, Windows, Hyper-V, Azure Active Directory, and Linux.
- Experience in configuration automation using scripting languages.
