Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at FYidoctors Canmore. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to clients on eyewear choices, ensuring they receive the best value and quality.
• Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with frame selection to meet their aesthetic and performance needs.
• Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear.
• Submit prescription eyewear requisitions to manufacturing labs and perform repairs and adjustments to patients' eyewear.
• Arrange and maintain retail display areas and contribute to store retail sales goals.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards using charisma and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of routine eye care or experience in the optical world is beneficial but not essential.
• Professional and approachable manner, with a love of meeting and interacting with people.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of comfort using technology and computers, with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Committed to excelling as a member of a high-performing team.
