Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator - Metal to join our team at W & M Wire & Metal Product Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components, working with structural metal or steel, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine materials required for metal fabrication
  • Interpret engineering drawings and instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for metal fabrication
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together
  • Construct patterns and templates for metal fabrication
  • Install fabricated components in final products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Urban area work setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and initiative
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
