Job Summary
EDF Renewables North America is a leading independent power producer and service provider seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing our digital mobility platforms, including travel management and expense programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform user maintenance, system training, and support for our digital mobility platforms.
- Conduct expense report auditing and Travel Credit Card reconciliation.
- Work in partnership with corporate finance leadership, tactical sourcing department, and corporate assistant teams to manage preferred vendors and liaison with our travel management provider.
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness, sort documents by account name or number, and process invoices for payment in our internal accounting system.
- Perform other basic clerical duties associated with the overall targeted function, including administration of source documents to the SAP enterprise system, posting transactions to journals, project-based deliverables, recordkeeping, and maintenance of physical and electronic records.
Requirements
- Familiarization with travel and expense functions as well as an enterprise purchasing system, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially as it relates to vendor management and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Five years of computerized accounts payable experience, ideally in a midsize company with a purchasing department.
Working Conditions
This position will be in an office setting at the EDF Renewables headquarters location.
