Job Title: Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing websites and web applications that meet the needs of our students, employees, and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom web applications and websites using Drupal and WordPress
  • Develop and maintain responsive themes using CSS, HTML, and PHP
  • Edit and maintain corporate web content in Drupal and other environments
  • Collaborate with other departments and vendors to integrate content and data from other college systems
  • Provide training on web-based systems to other college staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of five years combined experience in designing and developing websites and web applications
  • Proficient in Drupal and WordPress
  • Object-Oriented PHP development experience
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with other colleges and academic areas
