Key Responsibilities:- Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise a team of sales associates and other store staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales: Achieve sales targets and increase sales revenue through effective sales strategies and promotions.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
- Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.
Personal Suitability:- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- MS Office: Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- MS Access: Knowledge of MS Access database management.
- MS Windows: Familiarity with MS Windows operating system.
